"Farmers' Market Seeks Entries for the Perfect Logo"

Old Saybrook, CT July 13, 2009 -The Old Saybrook Farmers' Market announces their Logo Contest. Designs are being accepted through August 15, 2009 and may be dropped off at the market community table every Wednesday from 10am-1pm or Saturday 9am-1pm at 210 Main Street. All entries must be the original work of the person submitting the artwork.

"We are looking for the logo that depicts the essence of our quaint farmer's market," says Chris Bassette, Market Master. "There is such a great sense of community in this town and we want to display that through our new logo."

The winning logo will be chosen by the vendors at the farmers' market and will be announced on our website, www.oldsaybrookfarmersmarket.com on Monday, August 31, 2009. The logo will also be on display at the community table during the month of September. The winner will receive $200 farmers' market coupons to spend at the Old Saybrook Farmers' Market through the end of the market season (October 31, 2009). The Old Saybrook Farmers' Market features over 30 diverse vendors, selling everything from fresh-picked produce to beef and fish, baked goods, pestos, crafts and much more - all guaranteed Connecticut grown or made!
